David Hunter qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PWC before joining 3i, the FT100 listed private equity group where he became Managing Director of Investment Management responsible for the entire UK portfolio of assets.
David is Chairman of UCLB which manages all technology transfer and resulting investments/licenses for University College London. David’s other interests include; chairing the Audit Committee at Big Society Capital, the Investment Committee of the Care & Wellbeing Fund backed by Macmillan Cancer Care and the Audit Committee at Gresham House Renewable Energy VCT 1 PLC.
Past Trustee / Non-Executive roles have included chair of the Strategic Finance Committee at Age UK, chair of the Development Committee at PA Housing, membership of Bridges Ventures’ Investment Committee and chair of the Audit Committee of one of the Baronsmead family of listed venture capital trusts.
