Bespoke Passenger Solutions (BPS)

Our Bespoke Passenger Solutions grant may help to pay for the extra costs of a vehicle specially adapted for your needs as a passenger. This grant is for disabled people who need additional adaptations or facilities in order to travel in their vehicle. Bespoke Passenger Solutions provide changing facilities, including personal hoisting and privacy, inside a large Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV).

We aim to fund what’s essential to help you make everyday journeys, in the most affordable way possible so that we can maximise the impact of our resources.

All of our applications are means tested to help make sure we provide grants to people who are most in need of financial help. If you are eligible for a grant but can pay something towards the cost, we may ask you to do that.

The cost of these vehicles is very high. To ensure that we are providing grants for maximum benefit, we prioritise funding for disabled people who have a disability need for these extra adaptations, will find the use of this type of vehicle essential and make good usage of this solution.
